Julia Cruttenden - Julia trained at Leichner before joining the BBC. She started Greasepaint in 1979 and has steered it into becoming an internationally recognised make-up training school. Julia has been a BAFTA jury member for Best Film Make-up and Hair. During the courses, Julia designs the make-up, hair and special effects for local productions, giving students the opportunity to do valuable work experience.

Shaunna Harrison - Shaunna is a BAFTA and RTS award winner who spent 18 years at the BBC before starting to freelance in 1990. She has worked on films, commercials and TV, specialising in prosthetics and airbrushing techniques. She has taught at Greasepaint for many years, as well as at the London College of Fashion and for Skillset. Her freelance work includes consultancy work in high definition makeup, airbrushing and prosthetics. She is also a specialist advisor to several make-up manufacturers. She is a jury member for BAFTA's Television Craft Award for Best Makeup and Hair.

Christine Vidler - Christine trained and worked at the BBC before going freelance in 1984. Since then she has spent many years working as a make-up designer in the fashion and film industries, both behind and in front of the camera, including for 'The Clothes Show' and 'Style Challenge'. She regularly works for the BBC and independent television companies. Other credits include 'Parkinson', and various operas and ballets including 'Swan Lake', 'Madame Butterfly' and 'The Nutcracker'.

Sue Bide - Sue divides her time between designing for film, television, advertising and stills photography, running her own bridal hair and make-up business, and teaching at Greasepaint. Training as a hairdresser and beauty therapist, she spent nine years with the BBC before branching out into feature films working with such acclaimed directors as John Schlesinger and Nicholas Roeg. She's been BAFTA nominated, won an RTS Award and served as a BAFTA jury member for Best Film Make-up and Hair. Sue now concentrates on teaching and her bridal business but is still in demand for film and television productions.

Jill Hagger - Jill trained and worked at the BBC before freelancing in film/TV make-up design, prosthetics and period productions, particularly airbrushing which was used extensively in The Lost World, and trialled in the Da Vinci Code for Albino. Other credits: House of Elliot; Ivanhoe; Poldark. Jill is an NVQ assessor, a BAFTA jury member, and has been RTS Award nominated.

Lesley Altringham - Lesley joined the BBC in 1980, working as an assistant and designer gaining a wide experience in both modern and period productions such as "A Perfect Spy", "Between the Lines" and many others. Since becoming freelance she has designed live music and children's programmes including BAFTA winner "Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow".

Stuart Bray has worked freelanced as a makeup effects artist since 1994. During that time he has worked on a number of features including Saving Private Ryan, The Mummy 1 & 2, Gladiator, Blade 2, Shaun of the Dead and Stardust. Stuart specialises in all the processes involved in making prosthetic appliances and makeup effects from design, sculpting, moulding, casting and application. His enthusiastic and down-to-earth approach is sure to inspire you, leading by example!

Maryanne Waite - Maryanne is a trained hairdresser who works in film, television, theatre and fashion. Her recent film credits include Merchant Ivory films (hair and make-up) and the recent BBC drama Jane Austen Regrets (hair and make-up).

Jane Maier - Jane specialises in airbrush make-up and freelances regularly in TV, commercials, stills photography and corporate events. Currently Jane is personal make-up artist to Robert Lindsay of TV comedy My Family.

Demelza Rogers - Demelza, a hairdresser since 1977, joined the BBC in 1980. Having gained experienced on a variety of productions, including a number of BAFTA award winning films, she went freelance in 1988. Demelza has been dividing her time between teaching and working in feature film, TV and theatre since 1994.

Renata Gilbert - Renata is a hairdresser and freelance make-up artist. Her work includes Band of Brothers, Alexander, United 93, Golden Compass and Ashes to Ashes.

Jacqui Greer - Jacqui originally trained at Greasepaint in 1985 and joined TVS working on dramas, feature films, light entertainment and documentaries. She is currently a freelance make-up and hair designer working for the BBC and independent production companies. She has adapted her skills to incorporate high fashion, catwalk and photographic. Credits include the BBC Clothes Show, Armani, Pirelli, Marie Claire and Hello magazines.

Ann Johnson - Ann trained as a professional hairdresser and had her own business for 14 years. She has worked as a Hair Consultant on films. Ann is also a professional actress and has been teaching at Greasepaint for 8 years.

Joceline Andrews - Joceline is a hairdresser and make-up artist in film, television and theatre productions. Film work includes Sleepy Hollow, Bright Young Things and Nanny McPhee, Golden Compass and Penelope.
